Apollo nasty boy and label jefe, Dan X, is back again under the guise of The Outfit. This project features a red-hot collaboration with Los Angeles based artist, Mikey V (Dirtybird, Classic), to produce the smash single, 'Revolution'.

Kicking off this release we have the original mix, which absolutely pounds. It's a classic techno/house blend here with signature Chicago drum programming and a dark, sinister feel, all layered with analog synths and Mikey's futuristic vocal. Quite the powerful track, which may in fact prepare you for the revolution itself.

Next up is the Acid Dub mix, which is a massive acid house workout. The 303 here gets the full-blown rinse, squelching around the powerful drum work. This version is reminiscent to the early Chicago acid house movement by Phuture, as pioneered by Ron Hardy.

Stepping up on remix duty is none other than Mikey V himself, who takes this release to a whole new level. Mikey does an unbelievable job here by twisting out the vox in a tracky, warped out feel, layered over a shuffled beat. Underneath that, this mix delivers the goods on the low end, with a bassline that may in fact light a few speakers on fire. Heavyweight heat!

Closing out the single we have the accapella, layered nicely over a crisp hat to allow you ride this over anything you like.

This project is an absolute smash for Apollo and a killer release for The Outfit and Mikey V. Hands clapping and feet moving. Viva la acid house!
