Local Talk is the vision of founders Mad Mats and Tooli - legends of Stockholm’s nightlife scene within their own right - Raw Fusion / GAMM, 24:HRS. The label was born out of a shared love for music and an appreciation of each other's accomplishments - the underlying premise for Local Talk? “We just wanted to start a really good house label”. The perfect recipe.

Approaching 10 years since its first release in 2011 - Bassfort’s ‘Moon Shadow / Moon Light’ - the label has branched far beyond its Scandinavian origins. Mats and Tooli’s talent for discovering & cultivating exciting producers and excellent music has elevated Local Talk as an international imprint.

Art of Tones, Crackazat, Soulphiction, Dirtytwo, DJ Spinna, Lay-Far, HNNY, Vick Lavender, Opolopo are all long standing members of the Local Talk family. Not forgetting its hugely successful ‘Talking House’ series - now in its 8th edition - an ongoing compilation series that showcases the label’s talents. Deep, rhythmic, electronic, jazzy, jackin and soulful house all order of the day.

An important date for the diary of all Local Talk fans is August 14th. The day that Opolopo will be releasing part one of his new album in three parts. Remember we told you, note it down! Another release coming up on the horizon is Coflo's return to the label feat. Lee Wilson - 'Fool For You' - a deep, soulful and hypnotic number. Also arrives with Coflo's 'Fux Wit It' mix taking things on a jazzier tip, plus an instrumental version. Look out for that later on in August!
