With influences ranging from Jean Michel Jarre to Daft Punk and Quincy Jones to Will.i.am, Guy Robin proves that, rather than just drop names, he can successfully emulate some of the best producers out there. ‘Still Standing’ is a dark, emotional track with a wistfully delivered vocal that shows Robin to be much more than just another name on the pile. The Dub version dispenses with the vocal, save for a smattering of heavily pitched down utterances that add to the atmosphere, while Jean Christophe adds some synths and heavy drums for a more main room flavour.
