Atjazz & Fred Everything are finally Back Together in the studio after many years of friendship and long distance studio collaborations. From two of the most recognisable names in the world of Deep House, 'Back Together' marks the long friendship and musical collaboration between Martin Iveson and Frédéric Blais.
Having met through the DIY circles in the late 90s in Nottingham, Martin & Fred have remain best friends since. Martin collaborated on Fred's first album, 'Under The Sun' (released on 20:20 Vision in 2000) on the tracks 'Derby' and 'Let You Down'. His recent remix of Fred's track 'Mercyless' on OM became a staple with Deep House DJs worldwide, holding a steady position in Traxsource's top 5 sellers. Fred has remixed tracks for Atjazz's now defunct label Mantis (Kimbu Kimra's 'Raise The Dead' and Atjazz's 'It's Complete') as well as a recent remix for Atjazz feat. Clyde 'I Forgot You'.
Earlier this year they got together at Martin's studio in Derby to create this classic Deep House number. The parts were then taken to their respective studios to create their own versions. Fred's mix has a more straight forward vibe to it while Martin takes things to the deep end, adding dub elements to the mix.
Support came from such a diversified crew of djs, including :
Dixon, Faze Action, Jazzanova, Danny Krivit, Kraak & Smaak, Mr V,Ben Westbeech, Ashley Beedle, Mark Farina, Jimpster, Quentin Harris, Shur-I-Kan, Sneak, Llorca, Grant Nelson, Marques Wyatt, Jojo Flores, Diz, Funk DVoid, Olivier Desmet, Lawnchair Generals, Shur-I-Kan, Luke Solomon, Johnny Fiasco, Giom, Jask and many more....
