Where the hell did these guys come from and why haven’t we heard about them sooner? Actually, to be honest, we don’t really care where LEFT HAND SHAKE comes from, as long as they keep producing secret weapons like the stuff they’ve recently sent us.

On their debut MoreHouse Records release, “UNDERGROUND,” the mysterious DJ/Production duo imagine musical dreamscapes with cascades of heavy kick drums, deep, fuzzy bass lines and atmospheric tones. They paint an ethereal setting that embraces motion, tension and texture. Psychedelic pads and light touches of acid move the music between a dream and a trip, but the shifts are smooth and emotive.

We heard this bumped in a warehouse recently, and bottom line: this is a monster of a track imbued with the heavy humidity and heat of the dark underground music community that LEFT HAND SHAKE most likely draws upon for inspiration.
