Micfreak makes his debut on the label with an exciting double header and remix support from our own Ryan Pamatmat.

US House sensation, Micfreak has achieved some huge goals since signing his album, ‘Feelin' It', to DJ Spen's Quantize label in 2019. Not least, he has been able to work with luminary names such as Barbara Tucker, Eddie Amador, Hifi Sean, and Crystal Waters; become a chart topping artist on multiple platforms, and gain a coveted Top 100 Artists placement on Traxsource. His ever growing army of fans includes high profile additions such as Claptone, Roger Sanchez, Low Steppa, Sam Divine, David Morales and iconic House brands Toolroom and Defected. Micfreak is fast becoming an unstoppable force and he's looking at a dance floor near you!

Ryan's kaleidoscope sound has won him many plaudits. A DJ/Producer and Promoter, he always has one foot on the dance floor with music signed to a dizzying array of labels from London's Deep Tech powerhouse Audio Rehab, via Germany's seminal Plastic City to Bassworks Japan.

The EP begins with title track ‘Divide', a bumpty bass track with gnarly bass sensibilities. As the percussive layers grow energetically, the track reaches a crescendo and all bets are off. Melodics smooth the ride before the thunderous low end returns aplomb, but it's far too late, the dancefloor is hyped and the arms are high. Perfect pre-peak time vibes.

For his remix, Ryan goes deep. Focusing on the low end fury of the original, he crafts a dubby echo chamber for the early morning ravers revelling in the dawn and all it's wondrous new possibilities.

To round out the EP, Micfreak takes us down a dirty deep tech path of subtle tribal rhythms. ‘Comfort Zone' is very much his happy place, where beats and bass melt into analogue sonics that create a powerful 80's inspired finalé.
