Next up in the Left Of Centre Series, Adri Malaki returns with four more creative cuts.

I do it for the love. Adri says. A simple answer to a complex and nuanced question. Born in Switzerland, his eclectic tastes developed from influences across Breaks, Afro and Techno. Learning to DJ from a friend, he began his career playing long sets for the Apres Ski crowd at a local club before progressing to other scenes like Berlin and Hong Kong. Production came later. Now living in the Philippines and signed to a number of well performing labels his music ranges from abstract breaks to full-on club slayers.

Opening the EP, title track, Nautilus meanders along with a laid back groove and rock-influenced guitar. Icy sonics and rangey drums add to the mysteriousness.
Next up, 1500ms is instantly more club-orientated with echoing pads, groovy drums and warm feels. Thirdly, Calypso adds some extra funk in its trunk with trancey lead lines and subdued, dubby drumwork. Perfect warm down vibes. Finally, Jacques Dream ties everything together. Vibrant and musically diverse, polyrhythmic lines playfully intertwine with sparse percussion for deeply satisfying, joyous feels.
