South Coast of England duo Latecomer get their music affairs in order to showcase a forward thinking tech house sound on new single ‘Fix Up’. Their house roots and techno influences combine and shine on ‘Fix Up’ with its solid beats, chunky bass line and bright percussion all driving the groove into the right places. A killer peak time club cut, fit and ready to grace any discerning dancefloor this summer.
The release comes with flip side track ‘Afterlife’ - a straight ahead atmospheric club banger with synth drops and hooky looped pianos. Simple yet effective. FXtion have cleverly added to the original mixes by commissioning remixes from A Lister and label head Lee Pearce. The former comes to the party with his quality, trademark production; a tight, building groove is led with synth riffs, rolling bass line, and layered percussive elements to form a useful alternative mix. Whilst Lee Pearce’s bouncing groove led, tech house remix stays stripped back, bright and full of energy.
