After a few years or work, we are finally able to welcome Hollis P Monroe to the Lazy Days family. Hailing from Philadelphia and known for his club anthem 'I'm Lonely', Hollis spent the bigger part of the past few years between Montreal and Berlin, working on his widely acclaimed The Black 80s outfit (together with Overnite) with releases on labels like Freerange, Noir and and a full length for Jazzanova's Sonar Kollektiv. Flashback features 100% Montreal talent with singer Jenn Mierau as well as Remixes by Leon Louder. Hollis's International Hollister Version has South Africa written all over it while his Black 80s mix brings the song in a more traditional deep house area. We also fell in love with Leon Louder's versions, which instantly took us back to the days of Pepe Braddock's Remix of Iz & Diz as well as early Herbert work. Quirky and intimate.
