Philipp „Santé“ Maier has made some crucial intrusions on Souvenir: Almost a brother-in-law for Ali and Basti Schwarz, he has been fine-tuning Tiefschwarz latest album “Chocolate”, plugged the power to their new live-act and contributed daily to the good-working order of the imprint at Kremmerer Straße. As a producer on his own, Philipp has got the soul as well as the muscles, two elements perfectly combined, which have made his live-sets one of the most exciting performances of the current Berlin scene. His latest track “Own” co-produced with Adam Port released by Timo Maas`s imprint Rockets & Ponies inflamed Ibiza`s dancefloors this summer. Ali and Basti could not wait more to release his new inputs and are glad to announce that Santé is back on track! “EVER SINCE”, the A-side has a groove, which is bound to get shaking your booty on the dancefloor. Swinging with smooth vocals and a circling beat, the song grabs hold of you from the first moment and will let your crowd stomp with a broad smile for seven minutes of pure House delights. “MRS K” revives the dizzying spells of an old Soul Diva. Half-way on the track, a spatial wave breaks into the beat and projects the dancer miles away from Planet Earth. But just when you think you are reaching one of those rare moments of celestial breathing, the kick starts again letting the footwork slowly cloud your brain again. Phew! “WORK IT” on the flipside is a filthy percussive workout, carefully crafted with vocal fragments, energizing handclaps and unstoppable jazzy drums. No surprise if it works! “U&I” has a groove for her and a groove for him. Male vocals embrace female whispers while a heavy beat turns the dancefloor into a nuptial ceremony of the third kind.
