The Tiefschwarz brothers are proudly back to their home turf of Souvenir Music with an absolutely destructive piece of dancefloor artillery entitled 'Con Gas.' Dark, driving dance music with serious floor rocking finesse is the theme across each track found within. Featuring two brand new Tiefschwarz originals and a remix from Berlin's Oliver Deutschmann, this is a full package absolutely crucial to anyone with the unquenchable desire to twist brains and make strong use of full dancefloors across the globe. It's an unmissable EP confidently produced by these musical mainstays in the underground dance movement - who's life long expertise in the studio and the DJ booth is put to use with the remarkable music you're about to hear.

Starting out the release is 'Con Gas,' a loopy slab of machine music built around an all engrossing synth that weaves in a downward motion reflecting music designed specifically for debauched partying and endless nights. Equal parts unsettling and dreamy, 'Con Gas' finds an incredible balance between tossing the listener into a dark abyss and showing them the glowing light from heaven above. Centered around brilliantly playful conga hits and crisp hi hats, clever synth effects and sounds which grow larger during the duration. Near the 2nd half, the addition of chopped up vocal snippets and a stunning melody appear, keeping things cleverly juxtaposed between a sense of anxiety and peacefulness.

'Hydrated,' the 2nd track from the release, delivers another sonic masterpiece drenched in powerful mechanical grooves and darker tinted aesthetics. Unsettling sharp synth stabs come in and out of play amongst a fierce arpreggiated analogue undercurrent, while intense drum programming floats the energy up and down over the entire 7-minute duration. Rolling through musical peaks and valleys with patience grace, 'Hydrated' is an effective club weapon which can serve as its own prime time monster or bridge between moments. 'Hydrated' comes with a clear purpose - keeping a thirsty dancefloor quenched.

Rounding out the stellar release is a relentless remix from Berlin's Oliver Deutschmann (Vidab, Falkplatz) who adds his signature stomping techno flavor to the original version of 'Con Gas.' Taking the surreal synth hook of the original version and boosting the drums to a boiling point, this remix is geared specifically for the prime time of the night - when sweat is falling off the ceilings and blissfully intoxicated people have lost all sense of sensibility. It's unstoppable dance music which grabs the listener by the throat and holds tight without any sign of loosening its firm grip.
