Sandile Cele AKA Blue Note is an artist, producer born in KZN, Empangeni. He grew up with a music background he inherited from church, Music youth centre and eventually studied music in North West University.

He plays a violin professionally and has played for Northwest youth, KZNYO and KZNPO orchestras. In 2008, Blue studied towards a Music Technology certificate and he immediately started working with artists mainly based in KZN namely: DJ Bongz, DJ Amenisto, Zakes Bantwini, Nhlekzn, Sniper, DJ Websta, Kelly, just to mention a few.

Blue Note owns Blue Tone entertainment, an underground company he started in 2009 which records, teaches and scouts talents. Currently based in Port Shepstone, Blue produces Soulful chord based dance music, Afro dance, Afro pop, and other genres.

Blue Note has been around in the music industry for 10 years as an artist and 6 years as a producer but his passion gives him an edge and maturity.

Blue Note has had his songs featured in DJs projects, including a track he did for Bongz called Ndigoduse and Kwa Ndengezi Vibe which was used as a dance track on SABC 1’s So you think you can dance. He played a violin on Zakes Bantwini first album. He produced a DJ Amenisto album alongside DJ Fisherman and TKO of a famous Thina Sobabili track. He has lately produced a DJ Madumy album, a video single Ngzophila Kanjan currently viewed on YouTube.

He is also a self-taught DJ, a teacher, currently teaching Music Business & Aural perception.
