EpicRoots is a Deep House duo/band based in South Africa Originating from the Capital City called Pietermaritzburg.

Consisting of two young Djs/Producers Bongisipho 'Octavedeep' Mazibuko Born in May 24 1993 and Sikelela 'SiQsole' Mchunu born in February 27 1995.

Driven by passion and Determination to revelate a unique sound the band was Formed in March 2015, started off with uploading Podcasts on a Monthly basis.

The name of our Show 'The Nibiru Hour' includes voice overs both from National and international Artists.Our Sound is inspired by the likes of Atjazz/Martin Iveson, Vinny Da Vinci, 2lani the Warrior, Max Greaf, Glenn Atstro, Frits Wenkins, Fouk ,Jullien Gomes.

Our music style is more focused on Deep House/tech and Neosoul. We possess a very special and soul reviving style as Djs/Producers.

We have shared the stage with major names in the music scene the likes of: Trev the Japanese(Avant Garde) Dj China, T-Munny, Thabo Phalatse, June Jazzin, Dj Kabila, Timon and Pumba, Brewed Souls,
Ocean Deep, Nana, King Orow.
