After Flori’s excellent ‘Within Reason’ EP secretsundaze release their second EP of the year with Galway based John Daly and ‘Everlasting’. John has been plying his trade for many years now releasing numerous quality tracks across labels such as Mule Music, International Feel, TAANSTAFL,and of course secretsundaze with ‘One More City’ last year. ‘Everlasting’ finds John in exceptional form. An epic 9 minute workout starts with fizzing hats and some magic keys before developing into a fluid, free flowing deep house/techno hybrid of the highest order. This is no peak time banger but a track for special moments. Coming at you a little bit like a jam between Larry Heard and Mathew Johnson we hope you like this as much as we do.

On the remix we have drafted in one of techno’s brightest hopes Marcelus form France. Best known for his work on Deeply Rooted, Tresor and his own Singular imprint he takes ‘Everlasting’ into wonderfully deep, bubbling and aquatic techno territory. Don’t be fooled though as Marcelus can’t quite hide his tougher techno roots as the kick drum suddenly doubles up giving the track a raw potency when you least expect it.
