Andrei Morant holds a focus as sharp and abductive as his sound. A paramount figure in the Houston underground since the early 90s, the North American artist also known as Jack Mackrel has gained recognition world-wide with his catalog of insurgent beats. His music has been featured on labels such as Planet Rhythm Records, Starkstrom Schallplatten, Gynoid Audio, From 0-1 and his own Scope Recordings. In the past few years he¿s resurged from the underground, played gigs from LA, to Detroit¿s Movement Festival, to Berlin¿s legendary Berghain club. Not to mention seeing his tracks once again become staples in the sets of the biggest players in the global techno scene.
