Gary Spence has had a long journey through electronica of many shades, from the microhouse stylings of early releases on Takeover, Morris Audio, and Karloff, to more ambient leftfield music on Acroplane, to his gnarly, and at times woozy, post rave music on Nice&Nasty, Digital Distortions, Wide, LS2, Takeover and !Kaboogie. Inspired by a mixture of soul/funk and leftfield house/electronica he has always strived to create something emotive, original and outside the typical lines of music fashion.
Originally taken from 'The Hadean EP' released in 2012, 'Crossroads' is an incredible piece of music, slow-burning modern soul and has been already supported by Mosca, Lovebirds, Ben Westbeech, Llorca and played by Mary Anne Hobbs on Xfm. The package include brand new mixes from Hackman, Rafael Moraes and Ajukaja & Andrewski. Rising Uk producer Hackman follows his productions on Ramp and Futureboogie giving the track a warm analogue vibe and his signature bassline. Live percussionist DJ/producer, Rafael Moraes shows his creativity blending elements of jazz, broken beat, Latin rhythms and deep house. Estonian talents Ajukaja & Andrewski follow their huge 'Rare Birds' record with a dark hypnotic reinterpretation using their typical sounds. A monster release
