Digging for vinyl was fun, but digital digging has taken things to a new level. In the 90s, we would struggle to spend more than a few hours in a record store. Those hours now pass in the blink of an eye when you're in a DSP rabbit hole! It was one of those never-ending stories that led us to Bridvog. In a past life, he recorded as Ambear, and we found his life-affirming synth anthem "Make Me Move" at the end of an ARTBAT playlist. From there, we discovered the Kraftwerk-inspired indie-dance of "R Life" on DiYnamic. Conveniently, he popped up in our inbox with an idea; needless to say, we were all over it. Recently, Kevin has been revisiting ideas from his Mylo and Linus Loves era, which chimed perfectly with Bridvog. Fast-forward a few weeks, and the pair deliver "Salty", taking Alessia Labate's ultra-hooky vocal on a turbocharged indie-tech ride through 106 bass and Nord stabs (IYKYK).
