Glasgow Underground brings together two worlds for Legendary:
Ameh Fashi — a Cameroonian vocalist now living in Lagos, finally freed from a brutal contract that held him back for years; and Diego Barrera, a Peruvian producer living in Miami whose releases are rare but always exceptional.
We've followed Fashi since his early days — his vocals appearing quietly via SoundBetter and Fiverr because he was locked into an impossible label situation. Now, fully independent, he brings one of the most powerful and authentic Afro-house voices we've heard in years.
Diego's production is the perfect match: warm Latin percussion, tight Miami groove, and a driving organ hook that cuts through the mix. It's energetic, uplifting Afro house — the kind of track that sits comfortably in sets from Black Coffee, JAMIIE, Carlita, or DJ Tennis.
A true cross-continental collaboration, built for the centre of the floor.
For fans of: Black Coffee, DJ Tennis, Carlita
Genres: Afro House / Afro Tech / Organic House
Key Use: Peak-time Afro-house energy with global flavour
