Stogov makes his return to the Esquimau imprint after last year's collaborative release with Alexey Zhurba, this time offering a solo EP titled 'Aroma'. Building on a similar sonic foundation, this release brings a fresh, late-night radio session energy, where velvety Rhodes and jazzy piano licks solid sonic soundscape. On remix duty is French producer Sable Blanc, who has built a reputation for his smooth, creamy, and buttery sound. His rework of 'Aroma' takes the track in a new direction, infusing it with an atmospheric jungle twist. Sable Blanc revives the nostalgic sound of 90s intelligent broken beats, adding a layer of complexity and groove while still preserving the original track's ethereal charm. The second track, 'Wonder Story' shifts gears with a more club-ready vibe. This garage house anthem features signature elements like shuffling syncopated drums, deep, soulful organ chords, and stabs that give the track its dynamic energy.
