Album Only
Off the back of the original 'Global Sounds' album success, having secured BBC Radio 6Music's Album of the Day, Jazz FM's Album of the Week (plus widespread support from BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 1Xtra, COMPLEX magazine, MOJO magazine, Worldwide FM, Pan African Music, NTS, iDJ +more), a remix LP was a no brainer.

The selected remixers transport the tracks into another world. Genres are mashed up, rules are broken, and dancing is even more unavoidable. Remixers include Photay, Shy One, Voilaaa, Fulgeance (of Souleance), Lay-Far, Tom Excell (of Nubiyan Twist & Onipa), Mark De Clive-Lowe, Steve Spacek and Footshooter.

The vision for Boomerang is to be a melting pot of experimentation, and this remix album is a great example of what that means. It takes multiple artists and genres, throws them into the cauldron, and out pops 9 completely fresh tracks, dripping in an amalgamation of different influences.

The original collaborations from 'Global Sounds' include Steve Spacek & Yazmin Lacey, Mark De Clive-Lowe & Cleveland Watkiss (MBE), Scrimshire & Afronaut Zu, Duke Hugh & Bryony Jarman-Pinto, Footshooter & André Espeut and Mark De Clive-Lowe & André Espeut.
