Returning to the scene in 2022, Blossom Kollektiv presents a new full-length album ‘Infinity’ from Portuguese producer Pixel 82, known for his releases on Mont Lake, Local Talk, Toy Tonics, & Ministry of Sound and as one of the most active DJs and producers in Portugal.

The third and final single “Alien World”, is a trip with a more dystopian feel but still with uplifting moments that paint a perfect picture of polarity and toying with the idea of light and dark. Being the first track that the artist produced in the entire album it set the creative direction for the rest of LP’s musical exploration. This single presents another broken-beat adventure with dark melodic soundscapes mixed with moving emotive elements.

Straight away from the beginning of the track, we feel the dystopian vibe with dark arpeggiated bass and dubby stabs that create a melancholic tone that continues to build with a steady kick and minimalistic percussion. The piece continues the gloomy atmosphere until a glimmer of hope arrives with more lush synth elements that play well together, until the break down where synthetic voices appear as otherworldly entities that bring everything together.
