Plus Plus is back for more! With fan favorites Kiano & Below Bangkok back on the hustle with their signature tracks brimming with character and style, their Monument EP is a stellar example of what we as a label strive for. With Garden Party providing his raw production skills along with new comers Samuel Wallner and Captain, Plus Plus is soaring across all boundaries of house to deliver a dynamic EP.
The EP's name sake kicks off the ride, with a slinky low swung groove that grinds from the start. An analog sequence provides the foundation for everything to build on, ever marching onward as the track bobs and weaves with pads that swell and a bassline that never falters. A great showcase of building tension and anticipation while practicing restraint.
Waber Street 19 builds on where Monument left off. A raw and bold drum groove latch on from the start with synths teasing their way in before being pulled back. The bassline throbs while emphasizing the kick and snare. Half way through with out warring, Waber Street 19 loses the thick drums while woody percussions push the track as the synths push forward and open up more before the drums jump back on in for more.
Tedius Work rounds up the originals, but delivers all the same. A round, analog bass adds a low end rhythm as the track movs and builds. An acid-esque stumbles in, modulating and evolving from the first note. A thick, full pad swells while a bold, woody perf line builds over the drums. Wide open pads accentuate the final run of Tedious Work, with the originals feeling like they were building up to this moment.
The beautiful master that is Garden Party shows off his unique approach to remixes with a stripped down approach that still show cases his bold production style. Lifting the sequenced line from Monument, GP builds a delicate drum groove with an ultra deep sub filling the space with it's analog warmth. The sequenced line opens subtlety as the tracks more forward before an over driven synth interjects to remind everything that this is indeed a Garden Party production.

Quirky, delayed analog percussion opens the track before beefy pad with gentle keys over top introduce the main theme. The filtered drums drop in with their distinct machine driven flavor on full display before the driving hats and thunderous kick attack the listener in full force, the keys and pads never losing their pace.The rhythmic bassline plays off the kick on the off beat, adding tension and drive while Samuel opens the filter on a raw synth stab to punctuate the arrangement.
New comer Captain rounds up the remix round on Kiano & Below Bankok's Monument EP, with a fully matured and developed production style that is years in the making. Captain's approach on Tedious Work showcases a hypnotic drums groove stripped down to it's essentials while a slightly over driven baselines warms the listen to the soul. Delicate pads swirl underneath, creating a more ethereal presence with a kalimba ringing and accenting the arrangement.
