Summer is in mid swing and we soundtrack to your late night rooftop rendezvous and afternoon beach time romps covered. Back for more we have the UK's very own MYR providing us with three originals and that ooze of sun soaked vibes with their lush grooves originating from his collection of analog gear that litters his studio. On remixes we have Hunter Sanchez making his much anticipated return along with James Reid making a very welcomed pit stop and the mythical legend (if only in his own mind) Garden Party stopping by to provide a little mayhem.

MYR's 'Alone' is a throw back to stripped down house tracks that finds a hypnotic groove in it's simplicity. A round kick anchors the track with a gentle organ lulling you in. Taylor's vocals punctuate the track with a delicate female touch. A 303-esque synth line comes, but is sparse in it's use and application.

Mr. Blinder is a bit more forward with a kick that's a tad more aggressive and a machine driven drum groove that pushes and drives the track. A soft pad fades in but grows as the track continues with a filtered bassline that tugs back and forth with the kick. MYR shows off his knack for building tension and anticipation without having to beat you over the head.

Jupiter Morning is far more introspective, with a subdued drum groove and low, filtered pads slumbering in the background. Bubbly synths roll in and out to create a lucid state for the listener before dubbed out acid lines accent the arrangement.

Hunter Sanchez takes Alone and gives it a classic Chicago work out while still maintaining a delicate touch. With a classic bassline that rolls with the kick and a jacking snare that harkens back to years past, Hunter Sanchez builds a track that will be timeless for years to come.

The Mythical Beast known as Garden Party gives his interpretation Alone. With an aggressive machine driven drum groove, and a low throbbing bassline, GP (That's how he refers to himself) takes the pads of Alone and builds a cacophony of sound. This is Vintage Garden Party, creating a wall of chaos and mayhem while maintaining the groove.

James Reid makes his triumphant return, with a modern revisioning of Mr. Blinder. Building on the pads from the original, James builds a tight, crisp drum groove with a thick bassline rumbling underneath. With a philosophy of 'less is more', James lets the track run it's course, with subtle changes in the arrangement to keep the listener engaged while not interrupting the groove that is accomplished by a confident veteran in the studio.
