The original Basement Boys production team was founded in 1986 and to date, the boys, including Spen, have remixed music for such esteemed major pop, rock, and R&B artists as Michael Jackson, Erykah Badu, Angie Stone, Lenny Kravitz, Paula Abdul, Diana Ross, Shaun Escoffery, Bob Sinclair, EBTB, and more!

For this compilation, Teddy Douglas and DJ Spen have selected and mixed the most choice King Street and Nite Grooves cuts produced by Kerri Chandler, Dennis Ferrer, Kiko Navarro, Timmy Regisford, Mateo & Matos, Barbara Tucker, Tuccillo, Kenny Bobien, Roland Clark and more!
