After her well received ‘707 Collision’ EP on Balans Records earlier this year, the Parisian DJ and producer Hemka returns on the Dutch imprint with ‘Familiar’ EP presenting four stomping, big-room techno cuts.

The opening track ‘Familiar #1’ sets the tone of the EP with its fast-paced twisted rhythms, followed by yet another fierce track perfectly suited for dark warehouse raves. On the B-side ‘Familiar #3’ rolls forward and things get trippier while its steady cycling groove remains warm and soulful. ‘Familiar #4’ shuts things down in a more seductive, playful mood adding a little Detroit hypnotism into the mix with commanding yet uplifting results.
