After a hiatus of more than 4 years, BALANS Records is back and in full releasing swing. We are pleased to announce a new series of EPs from talented musicians from around the globe who’ve joined out platform.

We kickstart the new cycle with a personal favourite and close friend of ours. Sound designer, producer, live performer and DJ Elisa Batti has been making waves in the underground for many years. She’s created music for modern dance, theatre productions and installations alongside a string of unapologizing Techno floorfillers. Her own Immaterial.archives label has been a staple in the who’s of who of deeper, solid yet lush techno selectors for years.

She delivers an excellerating ride of rolling grooves draped in lush sound design with keen tricks keeping the dancer and listener on their toes at all times. The EP has been split up according to different moods from uplifting (Quiver and After Five) to the darker realms (Under And Behind and Rising Mountains) of the dancefloor. It showcases Elisa’s versatility and broad spectrum without losing her very distinct sound signature.

The EP will see daylight on the 3rd of May in both digital format as well as a small batch of lathe cuts which will only be available in our Bandcamp shop. Each lathe is handmade with care and has its own unique sleeve making every unit a one of a kind.
