Darko Esser’s Balans imprint returns this fall with one of the most promising projects emerging from the electronic scene of Tel Aviv, Deep’a & Biri. Having previously released on Derrick May’s Transmat, DJ Hell’s International DJ Gigolos and their own label Black Crow, the duo now presents their ‘Linear Regression’ EP on the Dutch label.

The title track ‘Linear Regression’ opens the EP with a fierce relentless bass, while ’K-Means’ follows with a more settled, mellow mood & multilayered synth lines that transport the listener to higher techno depths. On the flip side we find one of the most prominent producers Yotam Avni and his remix of ‘Decision Tree’ which adds acidic stripped down elegance to the original track that closes the EP with dreamy resonances and demonstrates Deep’a & Biri’s knack for sophisticated techno.
