The next release on NoExcuse Records comes from Wise D & Kobe, with their 'Flash' EP. Having recently released a track on our Limited imprint as part of the Miami 2018 VA, this is a more than worthy follow on for the pair as they serve up a 3 track offering including a remix from Marko Nastic.

Kicking off the release is 'Avalon', a punchy Tech weapon with an acid underbody. This is a full-bodied, peak time track that takes so many amazing parts of modern House and Techno and delightfully fuses them together. Where else can you find amazing piano sequences, gritty acid basslines, booming sub bass and movement-invoking rhythm all in the same place?

Second up is the title track 'Flash' with its ill-tempered bassline and undulating groove. Strong drums, captivating synth stabs, catchy bassline and driving hats all come together to keep you on your toes from start to finish.

Closing out the release is the remix from Marko Nastic. A deep cut with a Lo-Fi flavour and simple yet effective vibe throughout. Lots of heavily processed, gluey samples create an almost vacuumed atmosphere that is instantly engaging due to it's out of the norm, artistic approach.
