Alongside a wave of vital new electronic music emanating from the south eastern hemisphere, Nick Anderson's work as Nander is fast marking him out as a key proponent of Australian techno. Having originally cut his teeth in Sydney, Anderson moved to Berlin in 2013, but his work is still primarily influenced by the vast, unpopulated interior landscapes of his homeland. That sense of space and mystery was palpable on his debut release for Hunter Gatherer (also home to Cassius Select), and now he steps up to Thema's digital series with five tracks that further build on those foundations.
