The Under Development EP introduces 4 new artists to the label, for a finely balanced EP showcasing beatdown, deep house and techno sounds in equal measure!Manchester’s BE is no stranger to most, having received much acclaim from previous work with labels such as Prime Numbers and Wolf Music. He continues his journey into sample-laden, groove based deep house with ‘Pass it On’; 6 minutes of funk-fuelled deep house, with constant but subtle nods to his beloved disco and soul influences. Track number two comes from Bristol’s exciting electronic artist MXM, whose previous work on Philpot Recordings and his own Amp Art imprint have built the foundations of an artist to be taken seriously. His latest ‘Dicelife’ creation shows what he is all about, with an incredibly warm, driving techno track that is sure to put fire in the belly of all real house and techno fans. Ethyl & Flori arrive on Development Music after a year of releases on Freerange and Quintessentials to name but two. They deliver ‘SkJr’ as track number 3; a classy stripped back beatdown house track with a deep Detroit inspiration and warm samples a plenty. The EP is rounded off by another Manchester artist and up and coming house talent Benedict. After a successful debut ep alongside Tomson on Freerange Records, Benedict introduces ‘Gemini Versus Teradaptor’, a bass heavy Chicago inspired electronic house track sure to rock any floor. Another UK talent Stephen Day steps up to provide an exclusive digital remix of 'Gemini Versus Teradaptor', taking Benedict's endlessly catchy electronic synth hook and turning it into an epic, spaced out big room bumper.
