For This collaboration between Vincenzo (dessous, poker flat) and Fred Everything, Fred dons his latin alias Frederico Todos. This project came about last year on a lazy summer day while Fred was visiting spain. The 2 tracks included on the EP, Distant Star & Too, were written on 2 seperate trips, thus the 2 very different flavas. The projects were both reworked by Fred in montreal recently in Montreal. The first track is Distant Star, a sultry female vocal track, there are2 mixes to choose from, the first is bumpin' dub by fred everything laced with spaced out keys and an infectuously deep'n'sleezy b-line that will stay in your head for days. Vincenzo's mix is quite different as he ventures into deep electro house territory. Using a subtle yet intense synth lead and uplifting keys that build into a sweet & soulful excursion, vincenzo creates one of his most spiritual tracks to date. The third track is a bonus cut called "too"... too is a tripped out deep house cut with a killer b-line and infectuous beat that rides on a sample from a paradise garage classic.
