‘Foot to the floor’ is the motto of Canadian Sean Collier, throwing up a knuckle dusting high-five of deep flexing techno that comes after his offer of ‘Handshakes’ on KD Music’s 3rd ‘Kaiserdisco Presents’ compilation in 2013. The clipped, almost garagey kicks of ‘Chuggernaut’ run over the dancefloor like a 16-wheeler, travelling in darkness and trapping rabbits in headlights, and flashing a mysterious underbelly along its hard-line route. The loaded beats of ‘Seeing Things’ hammer home a second round of bluntness, shoving drums to the front and having a compact selection of shimmers and FX ricochet off the track’s stone coldness that puts the pro in uncompromising.
