The aptly named Comeback EP is Deep City Grooves third release on Assembly Records. Following the huge success of Police Brutality and Kisses My Way, the young Belfast-based producer returns with two original club-cuts!

Title track Comeback immediately whisks you back to the early nineties via a timeless bassline riff, the kind favoured by the likes of LFO and Orbital at their peak. This, combined with spine-tingling snare rolls and plucky-synths, results in a track that is guaranteed to rip any dance floor apart.

On remix duty is another young British artist who has impressed us no end with his recent releases on Definition:Music and Love Not Money Records. In just a few years, Dene Antony has proved he is both a DJ and producer of considerable talent and one to watch in 2014. By Denes own admission, the remix is one of his best to date and we have to say, were inclined to agree!

In keeping with the future-retro style, the second original track What Love is a slightly more upbeat affair. The track adopts playful percussion, bouncy sub-bass and deep sustained chords, all cleverly intertwined with choppy vocal motifs.
