James Johnston is no stranger to Assembly Records, in 2011 his remix of Manuel Regnets Joy raised the bar to become our biggest selling track of the year. Again in 2012, he appeared alongside No Artificial Colours and Michael McLardy to remix the mighty Make Me Feel single by Se-Je.
On The Run is James first original release with two cracking remixes courtesy of Extended Plays T-Bone and our favourite Russian export, Ponty Mython.
Whilst the original explores the tougher end of Johnstons sound, both remixes take a complimentary, yet entirely different approach.
Delving into new Assembly territory, Ponty Mythons acid-tinged interpretation takes inspiration from early breakbeat house whilst T-Bone ramps-up the tempo to deliver a full-on techno assault.
