Prolific British imprint Underground Audio has put its name to a number of enthralling dancefloor battle weapons over the past few years, but even by their lofty standards they don’t come much better than the work of DeMarzo’s latest. Renowned for his work on celebrated labels such as Brazil’s Warung and the seminal NYC label, Nurvous, DeMarzo’s body of work is just as deep, provocative and as eclectic as the labels he represents. For his return to Underground Audio, we’re reminded of the kind of talent he is, as he quite brilliantly summons up the sounds of the Ojon EP, a wonderful two-tracker that’s bursting at the seems with top class flair.
