A new single from Jazxing sees the Polish duo, of Jakub Sautycz and Mateusz Filipiuk, further perfect their already damn fine production chops. Following on from the pair's 2022 LP, 'Pearls Of The Baltic Sea', 'Memories' is available as both an extended dance floor version, and also a tighter radio edit.

The shorter shot demonstrates the two friends' evolving talent for coming up with complex and accomplished arrangements. Busy, but not crowded, with sequences the track is a proper pop song. Its lyrics, soaring in all the right places, lost in nostalgia for youth. Looking back, but without regrets, while bouncing to a bionic B-line, and accompanied by sophisticated, subtle bowed and pizzicato string fills.

The longer, 'Full Disco Purrefection Mix' is a classic 12' dub deconstruction. Brilliantly building some epic drama from initially just cowbell, then the orchestra, then a circling conga loop. The now spaced-out sonic setting makes a whole lot more room for the before buried rhythm guitar. Saving the synths for a climatic crescendo.
