A long time ago in a land far away lived a young Tim Puerto Montt. Tim fell head over heels in love with '14 Iced Bears' and decided, aged 15, he was going to run away with them to play drums. Alas his plans were thwarted by some pesky parenting but a mere 36 years later, Tim and his production partner Angus have come up with this reworking of the bands seminal song 'Hay Fever'. Original vocalist and writer Rob Sekula has re-recorded his vocals to produce some spiritual C86 for this post truth world.
On remix duties we have Higher Love recordings stalwart and king of indie edits Jesse Fahnestock. The one half of Jezebell virtuoso is here in his solo 10:40 guise delivering an anti-algorithm seven and a half minutes of glorious dreamy electronica.
