Teboho Nkone is back at Piston Recordings with the fantastic ‘Promise’, which is following his stellar debut single on the label, ‘You Want Me’. Based in Bloemfontein, Free State, South Africa, Teboho began his musical journey in 2014 as one half of the duo Libra and Virgo, before branching out solo in 2021 to fully explore and refine his creative vision. Since then, his work has graced respected imprints like Soulstar Records, Olbito Music, Sandy’s Records, Pink Couch, Deep Clicks, and Interplanetare Lab—a testament to his growing influence in the scene. Driven by a passion for crafting rich, immersive soundscapes and continually evolving as a producer, Teboho is an exciting force in deep house and beyond. We’re delighted to have back once again.

‘Promise’ opens the release, delivering a solid cut, driven by a prominent kick drum and slicing hi-hats, radiating energy while keeping it smooth and stylish. Warm, enveloping chords set the tone, as a thick, plucky bassline rolls underneath with serious groove. ‘I Got’ closes out the release, opening with a solid, punchy kick drum, crisp hi-hats, and tight, rhythmic percussion.
