1Trax are proud to present Spatulina, a first time collaboration between Nick Bridges & Daley Padley. Nick Bridges is one of the most technically-gifted DJs in the UK and one half of the chart-topping production duo Bodyrox, few can think of Nick Bridges without mentioning the global hit that is Bodyrox's 'Yeah Yeah'. The single debuted at #2 in the official UK Top 40 Charts in October 2006 and remained in the Top Ten for several weeks, beaten only to the #1 spot by another of 2006's big crossover tracks, Fedde Le Grand's 'Put Your Hands Up For Detroit'.

Nick Bridges was introduced to Daley Padley last year whilst they were both playing at Cream Amnesia. Both went on to become residents for Glasshouse in Leeds where their musical similarities blossomed. Padley has come through the mass of up and coming DJ's to become a fully fledged reputable and recognized name within the dance music fraternity. Daley has received huge radio support with his productions and has had four of his tracks played on Radio 1 'You Keep Calling Me', 'Tropikal', 'You Can't Change Me' and 'Terrace Attack'. He has also gained recognition from Radio 1 new comers, the Trophy Twins who featured him on their 'Producer Profile' section in April 2007.

Spatulina features crisp, techy beats complimented perfectly by the dark, rolling undercurrent that Nick Bridges and Daley Padley are renowned for presenting in their sets. With remixes from NiCe7, Hauswerks and David Elkabas the package is the perfect combination of deep and electro house that you'd expect from 1Trax.

NiCe7 are a DJ/producer duo, Nicola Daniele and Cesare Marocco, they started working together in the winter of 2005 and immediately started a prolific partnership based on their shared music styles and experiences on the DJ circuit and music productions. Together the combined talents have created a powerful mix of Spatulina.

Whilst NiCe7 incorporate a more melodic aspect to the track Hauswerks' mix is a lot darker providing all of the ingredients needed for a strong dubbed mix. Hauswerks also know as Colin Barratt has been in the industry for nine years and this certainly shows in the quality of product he supplies, both in the studio and behind the decks. Hauswerks productions play a big part in his recent success and interest as a dj, his signature techy beats and grooving basslines have grabbed the attention of everyone in the scene.

In the final mix David Elkabas, label A & R Manager provides a jackin', beat driven mix to finish the package. Having had previous releases on multiple labels including 1Trax' sister label MN2S, Robsoul Recordings, MoFo Hard-Fi and his own label Void this is David's first remix on 1Trax.

Don't miss out on this unique release featuring four exquisite mixes guaranteed to take Ibiza opening parties and the rest of the summer by storm.

again this is when house people get themselves in minimal sound, the result here is cool. I like both Elkabas and Hausewrks mixes, but of course Original Mix and NiCe7 remix has the biggest dancefloor potential.

Andy Holder (Nuwavonic)
Solid deep twisted business. Feelin Dav's mix the most, got a nice groove to it.
