Art is so closely linked to music that it's surprising so few artists are musicians and vice versa. In terms of dance music, the most well-known is Trevor Jackson, whose groundbreaking covers for Soulwax sit shoulder to shoulder with his recordings as Playgroup. London's Samuel Muir joins the select group with this stunning collaboration with Kevin McKay. He has designed for A-list musicians (Khruangbin, Gorgon City, Deadmau5, Calvin Harris, Jessie Ware) and cool-as-you-like brands (Byron, Red Bull, Koya, Ace+Freak). For this release, he's taken inspiration from unashamedly big room club bangers to bring afro-tech flavours to this Seal-sampling slammer.
