Dealing in a classic deep house sound, the first EP takes in music from Kemistry, DJ Technic and Moses McClean. First up, Kemistry is label boss Soy Mustafa in conjunction with acclaimed Leftroom/Cinematic Label talent Alex Celler. Their ‘Buzz Parade’ (originally off an EP of the same name from 2008) track opens the EP with glistening melodies, electrified synths and a hurried house lick. Next up is the decade old pairing of Mitch Moses & Vince McClean aka Moses McClean with 2005’s ‘Be There For You’. It’s a classic sounding garage house cut straight from Paradise Garage re-touched with a modern sheen by Real Tone boss Franck Roger. Finally DJ Technic the moniker of Glenn Brand gets resurrected in the form of ‘Charm City Groove’, a bright, pixelated melody is the main focus beneath which dusty, tightly woven drums rumble and a muddy bassline rides up and down that first appeared in this world in 2005 on his Sunrise EP. This classic re-issue package goes someway to reminding us the roots as we embrace the future.
