Artist
FRANCK ROGER
Franck Roger was born in 1976 in the Parisian suburbs, immersed from a young age in the energy of music thanks to parents passionate about dance and disco. Weekends were synonymous with outings to nightclubs, where he quickly became the mascot of the dance floor.
After conventional yet uninspiring studies, Franck embarked on a two-year journey to London with his turntables and records slung over his shoulder, aiming to explore musical culture and dive into the house music movement. Between odd jobs, he landed a bartender position at a renowned club, where he built a reputation by handling the warm-ups.
Back in Paris, fueled by the desire to make a name for himself, he began mixing mixtapes in his humble attic room and frequented clubs in the heart of the capital.
His career took off when he became a resident DJ at the gay bar "le Skeud Bar," even winning a DJ contest that gave him the opportunity to perform at the first Gaypride, followed by a legendary performance at "QUEEN. "
From one residency to another at clubs like Café du Trésor and La Fabrique, Franck started his career as a producer in 1999, signing with prestigious labels such as STAIGHT UP RECORDS, MASTERS AT WORK, DEFECTED RECORDS, and many others.
His remixes for renowned artists like Roy Ayers and Blaze propelled him onto the international stage.
In 2005, he founded his own label, "Realtone Records," where he promoted both emerging and established talents like Maya Jane Coles, The Martinez Brothers, Larry Heard , Joe Claussell and many more, thus shaping the musical landscape of house music. That same year marked the beginning of the "The Five Beats" events at the famous Parisian club "Djoon," where he invited the biggest names in the international scene like Laurent Garnier, LOUIE VEGA , Dixon, Ame , Osulande , Kenny Dope to name a few.
In 2007, he launched "Earthtrumental Music," a label more focused on spiritual Deep House. After years of residency at "Djoon," "Rex Club," and "Badaboum," Franck recently returned to his favorite club, "Djoon," where he brilliantly relaunched the "Five Beats" nights.
Throughout his years as a Parisian resident, he traveled and performed on every continent, including Australia, Asia, the USA, and South Africa, gracing the most prestigious clubs with his presence.
With a career spanning 25 years, Franck Roger has become an indispensable figure in both the French and international music scenes, continuing to support new talents while producing his own musical creations.
