Deriving from the studio of the experienced DJ and part of the so-called scene nouveau that Sven Dohse is, these tunes are unique in appeal and able to add a special, emotional twist to every DJs set – spreading glittering love all over the dancefloor.
Whilst "Am Wald“ pretends to be on a functional Minimal House tip throughout the first bars, starting up with clunky but well-saturated drums it soon turns into a friendly, emotional and heart-warming piece based on a constantly repeating but still ever changing guitar loop that‘s accompanied by the most embracing bassline heard in a while. If this tune was a flower you‘d surely pluck it for the one you love.
The second track on this release is "Der Einsame Reiter“, a track that lives up funk to the max. Reminiscing to Sven Dohse‘s love for NuSkoolBreaks in the early 2000s this tune features the genre‘s trademark snares and transfers them into a melody driven TechHouse sphere that‘s underlined with live bass hooks and – again – airy, folk-influenced guitar loops building up in layers and layers. This one‘s to be called one of the first open air anthems of 2013 and we all can see ravers’ arms way up in the air when it‘s hammered through a massive P.A.
