More than 20 years on the circuit with a string of quality productions under his belt, served under various monikers as e.g. his latest Don Shtone-output „Barcese“ which is to be found on the highly acclaimed documentary and compilation „Bar 25 – Tage Ausserhalb Der Zeit“ this guy surely knows how to work dancefloors well.

Based in Berlin these days his DJ-sets in places like Bar 25, Kater Holzig or festivals like Fusion are matter of legends and as one of the essential figures within the new scene built around these venues he surely helped shaping the cities new sound which is by now the sound of his own label Prestige Weltweit.

Starting affairs with the deep, hypnotic Minimal TechHouse groove served as „Cross The Bridge“ that turns into a massive, tongue-in-cheek Funk monster Sven Dose immediately proves that he has carved out his own niche here as he playfully introduces oriental bits and sounds seemingly to be taken or sampled from the eastern parts of Europe.

The thrill continues with the ever shaky percussions opening his tune „Demons“ providing a haunted feel accompanied by metallic Steve Reich'ian melodies, a rasping bass tone and rich layers of varying samples ever building up tension for the late night crew.

The closing „Venice Cat“ comes up with expertly crafted, precise hi-hats and sweetly layered percussive features on top of a sweet TechHouse foundation with a lot of feel for strings and lovely melodies – a perfect tune reminiscing to a season of endless open air raves and festivals that's about to turn every indoor crowd into a sea of lovely, smiling faces.
