Another rising star of the UK house scene, Harry Wolfman from the head-turning Purp & Soul crew, joins the Lost My Dog ranks with his latest EP of trippy and twisted deep house. Harry's three original tracks are all built around hypnotic deep grooves, complemented by thickly layered synths and pads, and sparse vocal stabs. Title track 'Booty Call' is backed by two remixes - the first by Ben Pearce, still riding high on the success of his Beatport chart-topping single 'What I Might Do' last year. The second remix comes from Lost My Dog boss Pete Dafeet who is currently in a hot streak of form following an album and 2 EPs for LMD in 2012, and has countless remix and worldwide gig requests rolling in.
DJ Reactions:
Audiojack: really nice package overall, can't beat the original here though. Top label.
Phonique: Nice EP
Moodymanc: pete's mix is great and liking the vibe of friction too...rumbletastic... thanks
Miguel Migs: Sounds cool, thanks!
Fish Go Deep: Fine release. All three mixes sound good but I'd probably give the dancefloor edge to Pete Dafeet. Also digging Ghost Notes.
Giom: This is absolutely awesome! Full support from me, loving this release
Sebastian Davidson: Lost my Dog is becoming more and more my fave label. Another winner here!
Roberto Rodriguez: Oh yes! This is one cool release. Proper house music. Quality production.
James Dexter: wicked release, Ghost notes all the way on this one for me
