The latest album release comes from Odour Recordings owner and Leeds UK artist JoBu. 'Electric Playground' LP is a tour de force through the sounds and styles of 80's and 90's electronic music, effortlessly blending together breaks, house, acid, downtempo, and hip hop infusions. The album is a celebration of classic electronic music, while also offering a fresh take on these genres; taking the listener on a journey through JoBu's varying styles, from dreamy melodies and atmospheric pads to driving acid house and breaks that feel like you've stepped onto a 90s rave floor.

'I have been inspired by a lot of things, and this album has been forged over the past 10 years from those sources of inspiration. It is all the alternative music I have made in the shadows and not really played to anyone else. In that time I have met so many great people and listened to a lot of different music that has shaped my own sound and inspired me as an artist. The concept that I wanted to put across in this album is a short journey of escape, while also foot tapping enjoyment. It all comes from my gut and my heart.' - JoBu
