Belgian producer Cabasa continues to seek for boundaries between beatless and rhythmic frameworks.
'Valleyfield' starts things off with fluid synth work floating around a resonating, syncopated drum pattern before 'Excess' offers a dark yet uplifting aesthetic delivering winding polyrhythms, hypnotising oscillations and delicately broken percussion.
'Cats On Scooters' creates a captivating atmosphere through metallic melodies, sharp stabbing features and a warm bassline. Leeds based producer Otik, known for outings on Keysound, Nous Disques and DEXT provides a sense of euphoria in his remix through angelic pads, weighty kicks and crystalline ambience.
