The original version of "Roll Up" saw Sam Dexter and Drive7 team up with brilliant Boston vocalist Lee Wilson for a slow-burning journey into hypnotic synths and jazzy Moog solos. It was the perfect record for early doors grooving or hazy after-party vibing. Mallin has had a stellar year so far, delivering ultra-deep goodies for us ("Off My Mind") and percussive locked-in jams for Hungarian Hot Wax ("Answers" w/ Josh Gregg & Dennis Wonder). This remix takes Lee Wilson's tribute to toking and warps it into a bongo-led, bass-bumping hit.
