The third EP from Micky Blue voyages further along his musical pathway and presents a diverse side to his aptitudes. The opening track is 'Fried Filters'; a techno beat with an intricate rhythm and a striding bass line throughout. The second,' Baby It's Over', is a tech-house number with a chugging percussion riff as the dominant focus of the song. It takes influences from Micky's early music career as a live percussionist and features huge thumping bass accompanied by a powerful female vocal. 'Magwi' is a techno track which takes its influences from the minimal scene in Sheffield. It features simplistic syncopated glitches and sounds combined with an inordinately bass line. Finally we have 'There's A Psycho Down There'. This techno track is built around an idiosyncratic vocal that sounds like it's straight out of a horror film. The song has an eerie space feel to it and is broken down with simple dynamic glitches.
