21 year old Rebecca Delle Piane steps up to Ben Sims’ storied Symbolism imprint this July with 5 track EP, ‘Lode’.

Delle Piane has been carving a rep for herself in her native Italy for the past few years with a steady stream of club gigs alongside the likes of James Ruskin and Jeff Mills while dropping a handful of powerful releases, most notably for Ribbon Recordings, legendary techno club Ribbon’s label.

With the ‘Lode’ EP, Delle Piane shows off her skill for crafting detailed, hypnotic panel-beaters. From the drifting melodies of opener ‘Hypno’ to the rattling 909 driven intensity of ‘Infatuated Of Me’ parts 1 and 2, ‘Lode’ quickly and unequivocally asserts itself. Whether combining cascading synths with breakneck, classic techno rhythm tracks as on ‘Rutenio’ or slowing things down and focusing on woozy heft on ‘Venus’, this is a producer beyond her years, dripping with well-founded confidence.

Rebecca Dell Piane’s ‘Lode EP’ lands on Symbolism late-July.
